Who’s behind Jackalope Carnival?
Jackalope Carnival is a podcast about weird history and folklore. A sideshow of stories with a focus on belief and a dash of the downright odd. We’re here to marvel at the unusual and make bad puns.
Meet the Sideshow:
Eric: Co-creator. Resident raconteur. Our sound wizard and chaos goblin. Eric co-hosts the podcast with energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of mischief. His storytelling sensibilities are that of a guy who drank a shot with a mummified toe in it. Because he did. His hobbies include playing guitar, making up songs about leeches, and finding conspiracy theories that are just believable enough.
Bekah: Co-creator. Storyteller and creative spark with the soul and sensibilities of a haunted doll collection. She makes the visuals and co-hosts thoughtfully but with snark. Her storytelling style could be thought of as vintage taxidermy but make it introspective. Her hobbies are: dogs, art, and singing love songs about the Mothman.
Julie: Poetry Maven. Benevolent specter of quality. Julie stays off mic, offering insight and perspective that keeps the team grounded and offers critique, and cosmic balance. Part cheerleader, part cat herder, part friend who kindly tells you not to post that.
